Chatting and chatting and chatting...

Yesterday I saw in ipue's house so many things got prepared.. and she told me, it was her turn for the monthly gathering of her former collegues.. she had worked in a company which is producing motors for busses and camions for ten years and since the olden times they have their monthly gathering.. mostly in their sixties, but gosh.. it was soooo noisy.. how much women are able to chat........ boaaaahhhhh....
never ending... and poor husband of ipue.. wasn't allowed to come in and got hidden downstairs..
LOL... - the women arrived up from 4 PM and left 9 PM!!!!!
and believe it - how many sweets and cakes and nuts and fruits they were eating and again and again tea and one time even ipue served a coffee for them!
CROSSY and POSSY and me, PAUL, were sitting hidden in a corner, only eating some nuts, we could bring here by my basket, absolutely quiet, so nobody could understand, here are TWO MEN participating in the ladies gathering....!

Pottery revival

Do you heard about ipue is making pottery? Since 12 years ago, and when she was young living in hamburg, making pottery, too?

Here since many years she was working together with her pottery buddy, who moved to canada in 2008. Actually he's in tabriz for holidays and again they are working together...

HAPPY EASTER to everybody!

We are so excited, if ipue.. will call us to find some easter sweets?!?!!? I've my basket in my hands and we're ready to go!!!!!!!!! if the easter bunnies are current here are some poor fellow playmo travellers waiting for an *invitation* to have a look for some hidden sweets....?! we heard about here are some christian minorities living specially in tabriz, urumieh and tehran... So the easter bunnies had smth to do in iran, too....?! We are instantly hoping it will not be too far for them!? Let's keep crossed our fingers they will not forget us!

Well, guys, me, PAUL, wasn't at ipuenktchen's at this date, but when back they showed me the pics and I was a bit jalous.. hehe....
when they came out at sizdah be dar the first thing they saw in the streets, was the very sad final happening to a former beautiful new-year-sabzeh! You had read about the customs, but ppl put it on their car and while driving it's falling down and the next car make it gone...
Then - boah - everywhere tents and people picknicking and kids playing - what a nice weather! What a beautiful *sizdah be dar* they had! And backside you can see the great new bridge in tabriz! I've seen it many times until now, and during the night it have a beautiful violet lightening...
Ipuenktchen & her husband and friends and POSSY & CROSSY passed the day in their garden 25 km outside from tabriz on the tehran-road beside the lake gurigol!

So sizdah be dar is finished... And like a christmas tree you don't need anymore after christmas the sabzeh is the same... No need anymore...
And guys - btw - CROSSY told me, where he had been during new year holidays!!! imagine he had been in *B*A*K*U*, capital of rep. azerbaijan, together with ipue's friends! lucky him!

Surprise holiday trip instead of sizdah be dar to "auton. rep. NAKHTSHEVAN"

yashila_81 is son2 of ipue.. and he is *travel-addicted* like ipue, too!!!!! whenever he has a free time he's thinking about where to go...

And so he decided to go to nakhtshevan to stay there two nights and... took me with him! Lucky Paul! this is a very rare opportunity and I cannot imagine any other even playmo-man or anybody of you had been here until now!?
(this is a part of rep. azerbaijan! they are speaking the same language AZERI like in NW of iran! Culture, music and language are the same. But there is one huge difference, they changed longtimes ago their alphabet. And are writing latin!)
It's not that far from tabriz.. only 125 km to julfa. WED in the afternoon we took the bus to julfa on the border, and there was nearly nobody and in ten minutes we had been crossed the border! EUROPE! On the other side of the border we had to take a taxi to nakhtshevan, sharing taxi and not that expensive! We had to drive some 3o or 4o km, and I saw the landscape hasn't any difference to iran. But the houses have roofs like in europe, not like in iran!
Entering nakhtshevan there were lots of large houses with many appartments, many people and less space... Each balcony for sure with a satellite dish... As we had time enough for the little auton. rep. We had time to find out the sightseeing points! Because normally ppl are coming here only for shopping and don't stay in the eve.
On FRI noon we left nakhtshevan going back to tabriz, arrived here in the late afternoon, same time when ipue with POSSY & CROSSY arrvied home and we met us alltogether and were chatting for a long time about everything! Because each of us had so many adventures and sightseeings during new year holidays!

A trip to Kerman

On sunday evening after going 7 hours with car we got to Kerman.I and Yasi were so tired but so Curios to see what's going outside!so we slept soon to get up at 8 the next day. The next day after a huge breakfast,we went to citycentre,Ganj Ali Khan Mosque,bath and Kerman Bazaar. The complex was built by Ganj Ali Khan who governed Kerman, Sistan and Kandahar provinces from 1596 to 1621 under Safavid Shah Abbas I. It consists of a school, caravanserai, mosque, baths, mint, cistern and shops.

After 2 hours we went to Vakil tea house to drink a tea.There was very busy and two men were singing traditional Iranian music! very nice!
Then it was turn to go to Ganj ali khan Bath! The Bath was built in 1631, are located on the southern side of Ganj-i Ali Square, off a section of Vakil Bazaar known as Bazar-i Ganj-i Ali Khan. It is composed of a disrobing room, cold room and hot room, all covered with domes carried on squinches.
The baths were converted into an ethnological museum in 1971. There we some wax statues which were designed at Tehran University's faculty of fine arts in 1973 and then transferred to this museum.

It was 6 p.m that we went to see. An ancient ice house, called a yakhchal, built in Kerman, Iran, during the middle ages, for storing ice during summers.
A few minuted Later in Jabal-i-sang,,, This tomb is located on the flat arid lands outside Kerman.
After having a delicious peach ice cream we went to see a Zoroastrian fire temple!
