At Astrid Lindgrens world

Today we visited a theme park where all of Astrid Lindgrens characters come to life!

We watched a lot of theaters.

Vimmerbys downtown is there en miniature.

Here you can se how Pippi Longstocking bought 18 kg bonbons.

Here you can see Madicken and her little sister on top of the roof.

 And here's Emil.

It was a great but exhausting day!

At Bullerby

Today we visited another filset of one of the movies made from one of Astrid Lindgrens books.
It's Bullerby, in English it's called Noisy village. In fact the village is called Sevedstorp. Astrid Lindgrens father grew up here.

At Emils Farm

Today we visited Katthuld, the farm where the movies about Emil of Lönneberga were made.
The books and filns are very popular in Germany.

Here we are in the tool shed with all the little men Emil carves when he is in the shed to think about his pranks.

Here is the house, where Emil and his family lives.

And here slept Alfred, the farmhand.

Trollskogen

Today we visited the troll forest on the isalnd Öland. It's a small nature reserve.

There is a nice walk around it between sea and forest.

At the beach, a wreck can be found.

The ship run aground some days before christmas in 1926.

Here you can see a very old oak.

 It's called Trolleken.

There also are ancient graves in the Trollforest.

 And pines in bizarre forms.

This well is known to have magic water and fulfill wishes. We are not going to tell you what we wished for, because it has to be a secret.

At the Kreativum

Today we visited a great museum in Karlshamn.

You can try loads of experiments there...

...you can be a crane driver...

...and you even can make your own paper!

We now consider ourselves as expierenced paper makers, because it was the second time we did it, first time was in Japan, remember?

We also saw a great science show about CO2.

Really impressive, if you put it into water.

There even was a gret park. We really enjoyed our visit!
