We spent a great last evening with delicious food in a restaurant in Nicosia.
Tommorow we will travel to Turkey and continue our adventures!

Saint Barnabas Monastery and Salamis
Today we visited the monastery of Saint Barnabas, Cyprus' patron saint.
Later that day we visited the ruins of SSalamis, where we looked at a lot of beautyful ancient pillars...
...even climbed some of them...
...and enjoyed the sun!

At St. Hilarion castle
Furher up the mountain there is the castle St Hilarion, founded by a hermit in the 10th century, first as a monastery.
We enjoyed the great view from the queens window.
Fortunately, we are not afraid of height!

Bellapais Monastery
Today we ahd a great trip to Bellapais Monastery!
We admired a lot of really old gothic buildings and stones...
...imagining the monks in the past walking around the monastery.
