At the Zoo

 Today we visited the Bali Zoo.

 First we were allowed to feed a huge crocodile a chicken. We were a bit scared, so we didn't go closer.


 We prefer to watch the wild animals from a safe distance.

Goa Gajah

 Today we visited one of the oldest signs of Balinese culture: The Buddhistic Elephant Cave. We had to climb a countless number of steps to get there!

Spicy day


Today we saw the volcano Batur. This is an active volcano on the Pacific Ring of Fire

We also visited a spice garden in Ubud.
Here you learn a lot about spices, coffee, cocoa and fruit.
We were allowed to feast on by all sorts once.
 Last but not least we bought a pack of the most expensive coffee in the world! The beans are previously eaten and digested by cats...

Lazy day at the beach

 After the exhausting journey we rested well. Now we are on the way to explore the beach and the hotel

 The freshly mixed cocktails are delicious. For this, the atmosphere at the beach. It is truly great here

On the way to Bali

After an express trip from Stendal to Lübeck with the german post, we arrived on time at our hosts Ivana and Henrik. 
Both are just married and we are looking forward to be with them on their honeymoon! We have just checked in at Hamburg airport. Now we wait for the first of three planes on our journey.
 Ready for Take off! Amsterdam we are coming...
From Amsterdam we are now on the way to Singapur. 



After exhausting seventeen hours at the plane, a stopover in Singapore, we are finally in Bali! 

At the end of the day we eat a tasty room service meal the balcony! The temperature is 32°C at midnight.
